Looking for strategies to help your job search, develop your career and other reflections from two years of the Reframe & Reset Your Career podcast? To belatedly mark the 2 year anniversary of the show, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by my good friend Tammy Gooler Loeb, the host of the award winning Work From The Inside Out podcast and book, about this and much more on Episode 59 of the Reframe & Reset Your Career podcast.
In this episode, we will learn about:
How I overcame my limiting beliefs to start the podcast helped by a nudge from Tammy,
The value of building your network in an authentic way,
The importance of life long learning,
We are all more creative than we realise,
Strategies to deal with the shock of being laid off and how to bounce back,
Don’t be defined by your job but think about the skills you’re learning,
Be open minded to new opportunities,
Apply for roles even if you don’t meet all the requirements,
Stay in touch with your network even once you’ve found a new role,
Allocate time to do other things like create content during your job search,
Simple ways to maintain your personal brand and strategically engage on LinkedIn, and
Don’t take rejection personally.
